"At a certain part in your life, probably when too much of it has gone by, you will open your eyes and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals. And you will say to yourself: but I am this person. And in that statement, that correction, there will be a kind of love."

Ash-baby, Linz & the Sidster...

With schools around here out this week for Winter Break, my oldest niece Ashton has been staying with me. Yesterday, we picked up Lindsey and Sidney and went out for another Girl's Day. I took them to the mall and to Barnes and Noble and we had a great time. They are so silly and I love being silly with them. It's hard to believe Ashton will be 13 years old in 4 days! That is how old I was when she was born. Man, do I feel old! Good thing I have them around to keep me feeling young. Love those girls!

Reality TV...

There was a time when I hated reality tv. Now it is the only kind of tv I watch (or should I say that my DVR is set to record...apart from Family Guy, hehe.)

Monday it's Jon and Kate Plus 8 and 17 and Counting
Tuesday and Wednesday it's American Idol
Thursday it's Hell's Kitchen
Friday it's Wife Swap and Supernanny (sometimes)
And Sunday it's Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Wow... what has become of me?

Thank God Big Brother doesn't come back until the summer. Not only does it dominate my tv, but I end up buying into the Live Feeds on my computer as well. Sheesh.
